Quit the gym - AND stay fit!

It sounds harsh, and may not be money saving advice suitable for every gym goer, but if your finances are tight, then you may want to consider this. And quitting going to the gym does not mean your loosing out on important fitness, you just need to learn that there are many ways to accomplish the same thing as I will now explain why this tip will save you a lot of money!

This article is not relevant for a professional athlete/bodybuilder, but I think casual gym members should think about this. How much do you spend per month on your gym membership? Maybe 50$ maybe 150$ perhaps more! That's a hefty bill every year. to be honest I haven't a clue about the cost of gym membership because I've never been a member, but that doesn't mean I'm more unfit than some one who is a regular gym member.

You use a treadmill in the gym? Well try jogging around your neighborhood, local park, or if your lucky enough to live by the coast, nothing beats a jog on the beach. You go to the gym to lift weights? Buy your own weights, they are not that expensive, recently I bought a set(2*1kg , 2*2.5kg, 2*5kg) for 30$. You go to work on abs? Legs? Chest? Back? Well you don't need those machines to work out your body. You can exercise your body completely with just your body , weights , and some furniture like a sofa.

So you'll now need an alternative to the gym. The internet is full of excellent information on how to keep fit with little or now equipment. Daily exercise plans are available as are comprehensive exercise instruction sets for all parts of the body. One website I highly recommend in this area is Making The Best. His site is simple, but effective, and his youtube videos are excellent. He will answer any questions you have promptly.

One(of many) thing my father said: "The only things gyms keep fit is their equipment" , which is very true, but after reading this article, you don't need their equipment anymore.

Thanks for reading!

Backlink promotion *Get on the list!*

Posted on Thursday, November 26, 2009

I recently saw the excellent idea of a backlink promotion method on MoneyBush.

But unfortunately it seems people are wasting the time, as the original list is not being updated. So I am taking it on myself to replicate this (copying ? perhaps, but afterall, the original doesn't seem updated, and note that it is referred to a "backlink contest" , well here I am, another contender!)

So how do we get this train rolling? Simple.

Step1)

Copy the list (from STARTCOPY to ENDCOPY), and post it on your blog, taking note of this post's URL.

Step2)

You leave me a comment in the form:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Link to where you have copied and pasted the backlinks list on your blog

Followed by the link you want to appear on the original list
<li><a href="http://YourSite.com">Your Site Name</a></li>
--------------------------------------------------------------

For example:
--------------------------------------------------------------
www.QuietZorg.blogspot.com/

<li><a href="http://quietzorg.blogspot.com/2010/02/backlink-generater.html">QuietZorg Blog</a></li>
---------------------------------------------------------------

I will update this original list at least every week(on average!). Judging by the original backlink contest, this will give you 100's of quality backlinks! One simple step, and the faster you join , the better for everyone!

So here it is, OUR backlink train, for all bloggers and website developers!

!!STARTCOPY!!

Too add your site to the list , visit QuietZorg

  8. UNEXPLAIN MYSTERIES
  9. THE HAPPY PLACE
  10. rama-ptc-world
  11. klmty

Don’t forget, to get the most out of this, promote it. Tell friends and affiliates to join up to this list! It only means better results for yourself and everyone on the list.

*–!!ENDCOPY!!
Now Get Pasting, then leave a comment to get a place on the list!–*

Remember, You need to copy the html code, not just text. If you are having problems in doing this, simply click "View" on your browser, and click "Page Source" .Then find "STARTCOPY" (alternatively press crtl+f and type STARTCOPY) , and copy from STARTCOPY to ENDCOPY. Then simply paste this in you blog post or website.

Any problems? leave a comment.

With a little bit of many's work, this has such potential for all!
We can beat the original :-)

Buy electric shaver

So you like money, but you also want to keep or even improve your everyday lifestyle. I know the feeling and sharing my ideas and tips with you to save and make us all some money! Well here is a small investment that will pay for itself over a relatively short period of time.Buy your own hair shaver / clippers. As simple as that .. well not quite but almost.

This is a simple but effective tip, you wont need to go to the barbers again! Saving yourself a few bucks every month. I don't know much about which brand you should go for, but personally i have a Remington hair clippers which works perfectly. This post is quite similar to the electronic razor post, but we are talking about your hair on your head, not on your face or legs!

Anyway, the one trick here is knowing what haircut you want, and being able to cut successfully yourself (or perhaps with the aid of a friend or family member). My haircut is a “2 all over” which is reasonably easy to do, I just try my best to imitate what the barber did , but “tidying up” my hair after the 2 can be tricky, such as at the neck and temples , I generally want those areas trimmed down shorter than a 2 , so my hair does not look roughly cut, but nice and shaped, and professional , as if a barber did it. I get a family member to do those tricky parts, and this little tip is great to know and practice.

This can be especially handy if you have children who have a simple haircut, and with practice you can do more elaborate ones. I'm afraid this tip is a little less suited to most women... although if you have a loving partner tell him (/her) to learn to cut your own hair!... a real way to test a relationships trust :-)

So my advice in summary , go out to your shop, buy a hair shaver ( a great deal can be easily found) and get cutting, and with experience comes better results. Well , 'nuff said , and as i always say, comment and add to this blog in any way you can, Oh, and stay in school...!
